We make use of our National Trust and RHS membership and love to explore the houses and gardens around us.

Imagine a detached house costing £75. My mum & dad's cost £6k in 1966. Prices have certainly shot up. My grandad had an outside loo, and that was the early 1970s. It's not that long ago in our history, really. Fancy taking those stairs at 102. I just hope I'm mobile and have all my marbles at that age. What a beautiful time capsule. Thank you for sharing.
