Hi! We are The Petersens, an American roots music band based out of Branson, Missouri. The band is made up of four siblings (Katie, Ellen, Matt, and Julianne), our mom Karen, and dear friend Emmett Franz.
We love that we get to share our music online, with people all over the world! We are surrounded by the Ozark mountains and venues you see in our videos, and hold shows here in Branson throughout the year.

I’m a dad from Korea with two daughters. When I was a kid, my father used to drive me about three hours to visit his hometown. As we drove along the roads, the radio he listened to always played this song, “Country Roads,” along with a few Korean songs. Even as a child, I could feel how excited and warm he felt listening to those songs on the way home.
