Daulat Giri Ji Maharaj took a vow known as Khada Tapasya, dedicating it to the god Shiva. This spiritual practice requires a person to remain standing for 12 years, accumulating inner strength and drawing closer to the deity.
The guy never sits down, does no warm-ups, and even rests entirely on his feet. He also sleeps standing up, using a special structure that supports his body and prevents him from falling.
Years of constant strain have seriously affected his health: his legs are badly damaged and have darkened, while his blood circulation has significantly deteriorated. Volunteers at the temple monitor his condition, treating his legs with special ointments and providing the necessary care.

A woman living in the capital contacted the police following an disturbing incident during a subway journey.
According to the woman, she was travelling in the crowded first carriage, with an unknown man standing directly behind her for most of the trip. After she left the train, two women informed her that there were suspicious stains on her trousers. They believed the marks could have been caused by bodily fluid.
One of the witnesses assisted the woman by photographing the stains with a professional camera so that the images could be provided to the police.
Following the incident, the victim filed a report with law enforcement. The tissues she had used to remove the stains were preserved and handed over to the police for possible forensic examination.

A major typhoon is closing in on Okinawa, Japan. Wind gusts have reached up to 162 km/h, while deteriorating weather has already forced airlines to cancel more than 400 flights. Meteorologists expect the storm to move closer to the Amami Islands tomorrow.
