Many people told me not to visit this part of Thailand because it's supposedly not safe. So, naturally, I got on a train to see it for myself.
Yala is a province in Thailand that is almost 90% muslim. For years, Yala, Thailand has been defined by headlines and sensational stories. But I wanted to know what life here is actually like beyond the news.
So I spent time meeting the locals, sharing their food, learning about their culture, and discovering a side of Thailand that most people never get to see. Is this province really as dangerous as people claim, or is there a completely different story waiting to be told? Check out my new video!!
