Description
Abandon't is a channel run by Steve who aims to go out and find the abandoned and forgotten in his local area. These can be anything from small industrial tramways to closed and disused railways, and all that is in between (and all that isn't)
All music used on Abandon't is produced by Steve, and much of it can be heard on Steve's music channel here:

So the Manchester Airport video has basically gone far beyond the audience I intended when it was recorded for.
It's a shame that people have the urge to post their comments that my video didn't meet their standards or match their knowledge.
This video alone has discouraged me from continuing this project any further or to pursue my hobby of content creation.
Congratulations.

Abandon't
Hello everyone!
The run towards Christmas is fully underway and I have some news for all of you regarding Abandon't in 2024!
So, the good news, 2024 will see the release of 2 more classic style Abandon't videos, where I go on-site and bumble around a bit. These will be the last 2 videos of this type for a little while due to commitments but that doesn't stop me...
Following these videos, I will be doing a segment called "Remotely Interesting", where I make videos about things I cannot get to. These will be things that I wouldn't be able to travel to anyway and will be a lot more script based. Think Jago Hazard.
The video schedule will change also. To space things out, the classic "Abandon't" content will be monthly. This will allow me more time to edit and travel once I get the ability and means to do so again... one of the cars *may* have decided to stop.
However, I hope that once I restart that kind of video, the content will be a lot more polished and a lot better done.
Between those videos, I will be doing "Remotely Interesting" 2 Tuesdays a month. Thats fun, right? But what of the other week. That leaves one week unaccounted for.
These weeks will be the "fun and miscellaneous" weeks, consisting of official Abandon't Music releases, compilations, top 10s, trainspotting and just anything that doesn't fit into a normal video or "Remotely Interesting"

So you're probably wondering where I am.
In short, life. Big things are happening to Steve and unfortunately does not allow me the time or headspace to run this channel like it was before.
However, if things go well, I'm looking to relaunch in 2024 with a new angle and MAYBE new branding. Who knows.
I have plans
I have ideas
I just don't have time or the head for it
I look forward to making videos for you again!

To the gentleman who found me in the shops. Sorry I was short, don't often get spotted and I was a little startled! Didn't mean to be rude!

Should have explained that the Arighi Bianchi building is of interest because of its wrought iron construction. And the Silk Road didn’t show up until the 80s, not the 60s.

Remember it in the 70's..the brickwork on the right at 4:30 looks familiar as belonging to Gas Road.
