Description
Flashes of brilliance come as standard. Flashes of suck come at no extra charge.
See here, I make videos about games. Many of these games are similar to one another, they require a level of creative strategy often applied to a management or transport type of game. You like these kinds of games. So do I. That's why I make the videos and you watch them.
Do I follow an optimum path to success? Give the name of the channel a quick once-over and you'll likely have your answer.
You can help out the channel by becoming a backer. Backers get extra videos, access to the Fail Brigade Discord and the potential for adventure. Sign up, and find the people who like the things you like https://patreon.com/colonelfailure

Colonel Failure
For the benefit of me, but you may derive some minor value from it, here's the baaaaatleplan for the coming few days of splendor.
It is currently Saturday. That means Farming Simulator. You should anticipate 3-4 more of these at most.
Sunday (Sunday, Sunday). How about another slice of Sintopia for Fail Brigade backing folks? Nice.
Monday. Retro Rewind, volume 2. These take a little longer to produce, so I reckon every other day or thereabouts is the scheme of champions.
Tuesday. Brutalball... we're almost to the playoffs.
Wednesday. Retro Rewind, chapter 3. Nice. This is working.
Thursday. Sintopia for backing folk.
Friday. Retro Rewind, the fourth.
Saturday. We're back here again.
Splendid. Depending on your level of involvement, a whole week of videotronic action.
For those who've asked, I'm using the Fail Brigade created mod for Retro Rewind, and this will be made available to FB members next week. There are just short of 1,000 movies in the library, put together by around 25 members of the Brigade. Obviously, it's all of a supremely poor quality. I'm aiming to continue the series until I max out the store level (20) which should take somewhere in the 20 episode range - maybe less, as I'll skip the mundane aspects of the gig more as time goes on. There is, after all, only a finite number of times you can explain the plot of Waves to people.
More games are coming over the hill. I can see them, I have special glasses.

Hello there viewing persons. The new series is very nearly ready to start, it should be a lot of fun. Until then, I have a question for you.
What's the ideal length of a video for you personally?
Vote on a poll:
Keep it punchy! Under 10 mins 10 - 20 minutes is sound Under 30 minutes and we're good Longer always better, I even watch the streams after they're done

Transport Fever 2 at this level looks like Cities: Skylines but with multiple cities

So this is what TF2 should look like when a person that doesn't have Failure in his name plays...

Love those Biffa roundabouts. Take a quick sip off tea every time you see one!

This is the journey I'm on too. TpF1 was a challenge to make things work, wrestling with the game to bend track to your will or tunnel and bridge to where you wanted. In TpF2 the monster was tamed. And boy did it look nice, but under the bonnet it was all too easy. Now my challenge is an aspiration for realism, which includes detailing for sure but also extending that to realistic transport infastructure. A joy in a different direction.

I've never played or seen this game before, but seeing as transport is my favorite part of Cities Skylines, I feel like if I started playing this game I would probably lose my job due to attendance issues.

I love the comment about things blowing up in Huddersfield, had me laughing during a works Skype call. That didn’t go down well
