Some NYC writer accused the good coach of "charging after her:   like he was going to hit her. HIs name is Dick Wiess from NY Daily News.

How do you have "facts" when you're stating that they benched a guy for attitude problems without having a clue if coaches said that? Lol.

If it was an opinion that Mike Reid was benched because of his attitude, then she clearly should have stated that as her opinion. Otherwise she should not have printed that story. The problem is that whenever there is unknown info about a topic, reporters try to fill in the blanks on their own. That is not cool.

Gundy's tirade will never be forgotten in my lifetime. Its so perfect. I'll be as kind as I can ---- Carlson isnt a very good writer, overreacts to almost everything, and hurts the college teams she covers. That said, she kinda set the stage for this classic rant.

I think what is being lost here is what a great tan coach Gundy has goin' on ..

I did read the article and apparently she thinks she is "untouchable" because she is a female sports writer and can say hurtful and embarrassing things about an college athlete without having to bother to get her story straight. Hell, this is the biggest thing that has happened in her pathetic career and she is sucking up the attention for all its worth. BTW, I am a sports fan and I am female.

She must be an Oklahoma alum.

I agree with him, for what it is worth! And that he was able to control himself, not downgrading to petty insults to get his point across is more commendable.
