We have been talking about the name of our self converted van. We are thing of either staying with Desmond; as in Desmond 2nd or perhaps changing to Desdemona to stay with the name. We have transferred the original plate so the name is still relevant. Please vote and comment any other suggestions.

Desmond First of his name, King of the Donders, the Park ups, and the First Dram, Lord of the Seven Road Works and Protector of the By Ways.
It is with sad heart we have to announce the retirement of Desmond and the start of the search for his successor.
We have narrowed the search down to wheels and a bed. We have to source some of that green folding stuff or perhaps a manufacturer would like to sponsor us. We have influenced two people 😆
We do not know how long this will take but we will be back out as soon as we can.

Wild camping with a TENT in Scotland is legal. Land reform bill 2003. Follow the right of access code and respect the land. Remove all trace of your camp when done. Easy.

CHANGE YOUR TITLE TO WILD CAMPING IN A MOTORHOME IS ILLEGAL IN SCOTLAND. Your title is very misleading to say the least .

Wild camping is perfectly legal in Scotland, you just need a tent. Sleeping in your van in a layby or car park is not wild camping!

It's not a crime if you don't get caught in my opinion. I wild camp in a tent all the time and have never had any problems with police/rangers.

Sleeping in a motor home is not wild camping. Wild camping is camping in a tent.
