Fiona's Creative Canvas
I wanted to give you a quick update on this week’s video. I started a piece with some really lovely texture, but once the composition was set, I actually felt quite constricted by it. I tried painting over it, tried adding patterns, tried shifting the feel of it — but nothing was landing, and I wasn’t happy with the result.
I want to be happy with the content I share here, and sometimes that means letting a piece go and giving myself a little creative reset. So I’ve decided not to upload this one.
I’m exploring a few new ideas behind the scenes and will also be testing out some livestream options privately with members first, just to see how it feels. If it ends up being a good fit, I’ll bring it to the main channel — but I don’t want to over‑promise while I’m still experimenting.
Thank you for being here and for supporting the creative process, even when it’s messy or uncertain. I’ll be back with new art soon.

Working on the next painting and wanted some really thick texture. I expected some cracking and there was a little which I patched up. Just have to paint it now 😃

Back to painting. I started on this one weeks ago but something was missing. So I added something with a bit of color. I've started editing so should be out this week 😃

The studio tidy up is coming along. Hoping to be back to my regular uploading next week. I have a couple of art piece that I started before my break so I need to finish those off. I think they need just a little something extra ;)

I was watching this and my husband was watching over my shoulder, didn't even know he was there. At the end he scared the heck out of me and said, wow, that's beautiful. He now wants me to try it and hang them around our home. That is definitely high praise for your work!!!

Beautiful my dear. I think being a little off center is perfect. No flower if exactly exact.

Your flower is so very beautiful. I love the way that the flower flows over the edges of the canvas and that the black is still very prominent

Your colors are so beautiful and the result is stunning. wow the spinning and stretching made it more beautiful. Definitely what to see you do more of this technique.

Very beautiful! Love your Colors. To get the paint to the center just press you finger a bit in that aera of the canvas and the paint will slightly slide reaching itself in the middle. Il love the pistils you added, very good idea! But i thinkI would a waited to add them when the painting is dry. I might be wrong but I believe they would have kept their shape and il would have given a little 3-D dimension to the flower. Very nice painting!

No way!. I about had a stroke when you covered it. It turned out stunning, then you spun it and I thought how could it get better? Of course it did. So beautifull. I'm in awe. Thank you for creating beautiful moments for others to enjoy.
